The man behind Bon Jovi , Metallica , Judas Priest and Black Sabbath’s ’style’ is to launch a new women’s clothing line. Ray Brown, who created stage outfits for Priest’s Rob Halford and heavy rock guitar greats Tony Iommi and Slash , has designed the Ray Brown Classic collection.
The party will last from 9 p.m. on December 31, 2007 until the morning of the first and include many fashion shows performed by 40 models who were finalists in the Miss FTV 2007 contest. The winner of the Miss FTV 2007 contest will be announced during the party, FTV representative Uzi Garty told the press conference.

More than $400,000 worth of designer clothing has been stolen from a store on Ridgeway Dr. Peel Regional Police believe the same culprits pulled off a pair of break-ins this year at the high-end clothing shop in the city’s west end. Prada and Versace suits, jeans and purses worth more than $200,000 were stolen during each robbery. The first break-in took place in April and the second occured earlier this month.

Designers will continue to take queues from the early ’90s. We’ve already seen this with the return of plaid and empire waist dresses. These looks won’t be as severe as grunge–remember, we’re still in a structured phase–but they will draw from that era for inspiration.
