A bride in the US has won a competition for walking up the aisle in the best toilet paper wedding dress. The 2007 Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest, sponsored by Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com, gave the award to Jennifer Cannon for her recyclable gown. Jennifer s wedding to groom Doy Nichols took place, of course, at Charmin portable bathrooms set up temporarily for the day in Times Square.
Designer Meghna K infused the fun element with her chic party collection with Aditi Govitrikar and Shonali Nagrani showing their support by wearing her outfits. Actor/ Singer Raageshwari Loomba came dressed in a white and gold Annie and Nimmu outfit. It was an evening where friends showed full support to their designers and turned impromptu models. Peel police believe the same men are behind the daring heists in April and again this month at an unnamed store on Ridgeway Drive. A fundraiser is being held for a well-known salesman at a downtown San Luis Obispo men’s clothing store who was seriously injured in a car accident. Richie Wilson has worked for Patrick James, 641 Higuera St., for about 20 years. He was badly hurt in a two car accident on Tank Farm Road Monday night, said Aaron Richardson, manager at Patrick James. Wilson remained in critical condition at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center’s Intensive Care Unit on Friday, hospital spokesman Ron Yukelson said.
