Tickets to the event will be available to the public via Project Runway’s New York based promotional partners including Time Warner Cable, through Z100 Radio, Gawker.com and event partner Bluefly.com. Additional seats will also be made available to fans at the event on a first come, first served basis. The event begins at 12:30PM sharp. To make the show more accessible to fans, the tent that houses the runway will be clear giving consumers a sneak peek at the excitement inside.

Tara Men s Clothing in Midtown Village, Wilkes-Barre, will begin a going-out-of- business sale Wednesday. The store first opened in Plains Township in 1984, dealing in high-quality menswear. It moved to Wilkes-Barre in 1997. The store will remain open through the holidays.

“The fashion industry in the Czech Republic has definitely grown in the last 18 years since the Berlin Wall fell, but it is a slow process,” Schwartz said in an email. Popular labels such as Zara, Mango, and other international chains dominate its fashion industry. “People are only slowly starting to focus more on original clothing rather than buying exclusively from international chains,” Schwartz said. Her retirement ended. “Why would anyone say no to Dirty Harry?” she joked. Pictures and ads of Eastwood dot the Tehama office. Eastwood (Haley and other members of the company are on a first-name basis with him) was a major player in getting Tehama off the ground, she said. “He was the inspiration for the product in the beginning,” she said. “He helped us market the brand, and he modeled some of the clothes. We’re at the point now where we have a very strong brand in the industry,” she said.

New York Look , which will cost $5.99 and will come out in November and April each year–allowing each issue to act as a postmortem on either the fall or spring fashion shows. It will expand on the fashion coverage that’s currently in the magazine, but also put to print some of the fashion features on the Web site, New York spokeswoman Serena Torrey told Media Mob. A staff sergeant at a missile base out west recently found himself down to only two presentable battle dress uniforms, so he decided it was time to buy some new threads. But it wasn t so easy to do that. The Air Force is phasing out the BDU in favor of the new airman battle uniform, so the sergeant, who asked not to be identified, figured he might as well upgrade to the latest and greatest.
