Firefly Clothing to feature Oklahoma fashion designers

Page 1 of 1 Firefly Clothing will be featuring four Oklahoma designers at the “Up & Coming Party” at their location in Bricktown from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Feb. 29. The four Oklahoma designers are mostly all from the metro area and include: Dead Cities, Cadillac Cowboy, Bombs Away and Heidi Cannon, said Heather Parsons, UCO senior fashion marketing major.

Pakistani-made girl s clothing recalled

WASHINGTON, Dec. 6 (UPI) — The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of Basic Editions-brand girls’ clothing sets due to an entrapment or entanglement hazard. Approximately 13,000 clothing sets manufactured in Pakistan were sold nationwide at Kmart stores. The two-piece clothing sets include olive-colored knit pants with a fully-tunneled waist drawstring and a pink short-sleeved top with necktie.

Karla Dishun, the owner of Momma s Boy-Daddy s Girl, opened the first retail store just over 3 years ago and the explosion of the internet business has truly astonished her. I expected the internet sales to be a nice supplement to the retail store s business, especially given my penchant for southern-styled children s clothing in a geographical area that typically prefers more European-styled children s clothing.
