Women found dressing inappropriately may be warned or, particularly for repeat offenders, can be taken to a police station and fined. Police this year have also cracked down on men sporting what are considered “Western” spiked haircuts.

Clothing store earns students’ recognition

Avant Gaudy focuses on a mission of catering to young people. “We are looking to the New Garde. This goes back to the concept behind the name. Police Searching For Clothing Crooks

The Miami Dade Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two men caught on camera burglarizing a clothing business in Kendall. Surveillance video shows three men stealing thousands of dollars of men’s clothing from Guayabera Etc. at 88th Street and Bird Road on October 8th.

Sacred Heart School to conduct clothing drive

Sacred Heart School will be conducting a clothing drive in December. They accept all clean, usable and wearable clothing, including: shoes, boots, sneakers; men’s, women’s and children’s clothing; accessories, such as scarves, belts, handbags, hats and ties; soft household items, such as towels, tablecloths, curtains and bedding; stuffed animals and small toys. Items should be put in plastic bags. Manned drop-off times are 9 a.m. to noon and 4 to 5 p.m. Dec. 1, 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 2.

Students to collect clothing, toys for needy

FREEDOM PLAINS - Arlington High School will hold a used clothing collection from 3-5 p.m. Saturday at the school’s first parking lot off Route 55. Students will collect clothing for men, women and children; clothing accessories, including shoes, belts, handbags, hats, jackets and socks; sheets, towels and curtains; toys and car seats. Donated items do not have to be in perfect condition. Items must fit in and be carried in well-tied black garbage bags. Call 845-223-7896.

Counterfeit clothing leads to six arrests

NEW YORK, Nov. 15 (UPI) — Six suspects were arrested in New York for allegedly trafficking in counterfeit designer clothing worth nearly $20 million. The New York Post said Thursday that U.S. agents picked up the suspects following an undercover investigation. The investigation lasted about four years and was traced to Los Angeles where the alleged fake goods arrived in the United States from China. 2007 United Press International. All Rights Reserved.
