The perfume sports a floral heart of tuberose, orange flower and purple orris mixed with a burst of apricot blossom and calla lilies. The scent is rounded out by woods (cottonwood and sandalwood), vetiver and amber. American Beauty’s Beloved ($39.50 for perfume spray) is available beginning this month at Kohl’s stores and www.kohls.com .

The latest government figures show that China s market share was 16.3 percent in the first nine months of 2007. During that period, the overall volume of imports doubled and China doubled its market share.
