Dog attacks rise 40% as teenagers use dangerous animals as fashion accessories
There’s only one reason these dogs attack - their owners. Responsible dog ownership is easy for those of us that love having a family pet. I am the proud owner of a Staffie Bull Terrier (as shown in the photo) and he’s the most loveable dog I’ve ever owned. The Kennel Club recommends only two breeds to have with children and these are one. I would trust him with my life. Let’s have more legislation to stop young irresponsible owners having these dogs as status symbols.
It breaks my heart to see them dragged around the streets, being taunted and hit. They deserve more and so do the children who are caught up in the middle of it.
