Season’s fashion trends include cashmere, bright satins and animal skin

Color, denim and leather The fall fashion outlook: gray, but never gloomy. Here are 10 trends to watch: Graphics Use them to add punch to last year’s basics. Mod A deep turquoise trapeze dress with cropped bell sleeves is perfect for laid-back glamour. Try a sport coat to dress up basic denim. Preppy What’s old is new again.

Button-down polo shirts and Levi’s slim and straight jeans may be throwbacks to the ’80s, but your kids won’t know that! Interesting cuts A little black dress with an asymmetrical, ruched bodice is the canvas. Splashes of color in the jewelry and shoes make the look. Softer edges They abound in the floral stripes of a button-down work shirt or a pair of classic khakis. Hosiery The details make the difference; go for bold colors like blue or red. Gray The color is dominant for both sexes.

Look for shades from dove to charcoal. Vivid color Sunflower yellows and eye-popping golds are sure to please.
