The entry titled “Dockers ups its style beyond khakis.”

I disagree with Cecilia. I attended a Style Session (and blogged about it) and found to my surprise that the clothing is much more feminine and hip than ever before. Sure you could still pick out a plain khaki pant and a camp style shirt but there were luxuriously soft sweaters (the lavendar one pictured felt wonderful) and zippy little mini skirts alongside a stylishly hipster version of the old school corduroy jacket. None of these clothes looked or felt low rent.

And none of them felt like drabby casual fare. The line is perfect for the 30 something professional. I did not feel as if the cut remained the same as it did in the past when Dockers were all wider in the hip, higher in the waistline and had formless blouses. These clothes are definitely not party fare or for the Cosmo swilling neckline cut down to there type of young businesswomen but they are great basics to fill your wardrobe -and at less cost.
